Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Data Scientist Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for developing and deploying applied machine learning models that improve member engagement and enhance discovery experiences across Sams Clubs digital and physical touchpoints. Youll work alongside a talented team of Scientists and Engineers to design scalable ML solutions for Search, Ranking, and Personalization , using modern data pipelines and advanced modeling techniques.

Youll contribute to the full ML lifecycle from data preparation and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment helping transform data into actionable intelligence that powers smarter recommendations and seamless member experiences.

• Designing, training, and evaluating ML models that drive personalization and discovery.
• Working closely with Data Engineers to operationalize and scale models in production.
• Supporting A / B testing and experimentation to measure and optimize model impact.
• Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to define data and model requirements .
• Learning and applying emerging AI techniques to continuously improve member experiences.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
