MOBILE THERAPIST

The Mobile Therapist serves as a primary therapist specializing in both family and individual therapy. The Mobile Therapist assists in coordinating treatment services for each client in his / her caseload.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

The Mobile Therapist will ensure the prompt and accurate completion of all necessary clinical, fiscal and program related forms.

The Mobile Therapist will assist the program manager in ensuring that all appropriate documentation is maintained.

Work collaboratively with other members of the child’s treatment team to design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan.

Ensure that all behavior modification intervention plans are proactive and individualized to the child and family needs.

Assist in the management of aggressive clients as needed, using approved de-escalation techniques.

Identify behavioral goals and intervention techniques, recommend non-averse behavioral change methods to treatment team members and family, and implement program using the least restrictive treatment modality.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

• Meet one of the following :

Be licensed in the Commonwealth of PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker.

Be licensed as a Behavior Specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct care practicum.

Must possess the ability to be trained, and pass, First Aid and CPR certifications; Valid Driver’s License Required.

Must be 21 years of age or older .
