The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and scheduling maintenance requests, managing vendor relationships, ensuring the timely completion of work orders, and maintaining accurate records of property maintenance. This role serves as the central point of contact between residents, vendors, and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Compensation : $25 - $28 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Receive, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Coordinate daily and preventative maintenance tasks with in-house technicians and external vendors.
- Communicate with residents regarding maintenance issues, updates, and timelines.
- Track and follow up on open work orders to ensure completion and resident satisfaction.
- Maintain organized records of all maintenance requests, vendor invoices, warranties, and service agreements.
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts and performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Order and track maintenance supplies and inventory.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager in budgeting and planning for capital improvements.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies during business hours and assist with on-call coordination as needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or technical degree preferred.2+ years of experience in maintenance coordination, property management, or facilities support.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency with work order systems and Apple Products.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with basic maintenance terminology and processes.Familiarity with Property Management software applications is a plus.Strong Communication skills.Problem-solving skills to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions.Leadership skills.About Company
