Job Title : Registered Nurse

Unit : CCU / ICU

Location :   Chico, CA 95926

Shift : NOC 12 hr, 7pm start

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Duration : 13 weeks

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong CCU / ICU background and a minimum of 3+ years of acute care experience. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality critical care nursing, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and deliver compassionate patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in the CCU / ICU setting.
  • Assess, monitor, and manage patient conditions, including responding to emergencies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and family members to coordinate care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care and clinical practice.

    • Skills :

  • Advanced critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ventilator management and ICU monitoring equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent documentation, time management, and patient-care coordination skills.
  • Must have prior traveler experience
  • Must be proficient in EPIC charting / computer systems.
  • Must be willing to float to other units including Med / Surg

    • Documents Required :

  • Valid CA State RN license
  • ACLS Certified through AHA
  • BLS Certified through AHA
