What you'll do :
Work with the stakeholders from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and visionOversee the beginning of each project, including details such as CER submission and design evaluationsCreate the schedule for each project and match talent to the jobApprove all contracts and invoices Coordinate project scope change approvalsCollaborate with the engineer / vendor and construction professionals to ensure feasibility of projectProvide environment for project team members to learn project management skillsEnsure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met for the construction projectConduct meetings as needed with engineers, vendors, stakeholders and contractorsExperienced planning outage work schedules and supervising contractors to accomplish installation goalsCapable of managing multiple project designs, scopes, budgets, and installationsNegotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractorsFluent and effective at creating technical descriptions for both operators and maintenanceKnow when additional help from CMC Procurement is neededCoordinate development of project procedures manual and work planPrepare and submit project reports to stakeholdersManage multiple project designs, scopes, budgets, and installationsFluently and effectively create technical descriptions for both operators and maintenanceComplete project with construction safety record which exceeds industry standardsTravel may vary but typically encompasses 25 to 60% of time May be up to 100% (or temporary relocation) during major construction timelineWhat you'll need :
Ability to read all disciplines of construction and fabrication drawingsMinimum 8 years experience in manufacturing or other similar businessesExtensive experience managing large construction projectsThorough understanding of construction safety rules and proceduresHistory of meeting established target dates for projectsExperienced with field work and understanding the customer's needsProficient in MS Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred; AutoCAD skills are a plusStrong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipmentTypically, 25 to 40% Travel, up to 100% during major construction timeline or temporary relocationUnderstanding of risk management policies and proceduresAbility to work within project scope and budgetExperienced in coordinating and leading meetingsProficient in MS Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferredAutoCAD skills are a plusPMI certification is preferredYour education :
