Device Supervisor RN
Position Summary
The Device Supervisor RN is responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care within the department. This role coordinates physician engagement, employee engagement, and patient experience, ensuring that care is provided in an efficient and ethical manner, respecting the dignity and worth of each person. This position requires effective communication with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare team members to maintain top decile results in patient outcomes and service excellence.

Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Hiring compensation ranges start from $34.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution. Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on cardiovascular care.
Previous experience in cardiac device management is highly desirable.
Required Registration / License / Certification
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association is required at time of hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
In-depth understanding of cardiac devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular care and related medical treatments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate within the healthcare team.
Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant healthcare technologies.
Ability to stay current with industry advancements, guidelines, and best practices in cardiac device management.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity for performing assessments and device checks.
Physical stamina to respond to emergency situations promptly.
Ability to lift and position patients as needed.
Working Conditions
Primarily works in a clinical setting within the Heart and Vascular Clinic.
May require occasional travel to satellite clinics or outreach activities.
Exposure to standard healthcare environments, including exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
Regular interaction with patients, healthcare providers, and medical equipment.
Subject to fast-paced and dynamic work situations, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
