Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist skilled in both CT and X-ray imaging with at least two years of recent U.S. hospital experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is seven on, seven off night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Work setting includes both computed tomography (CT) and radiographic (X-ray) procedures
  • Role requires operation of CT and X-ray equipment and related processors
  • Patient care includes correctly positioning patients and adjusting technical factors to produce high-quality images
  • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
  • Duties include preparing rooms and supplies, assisting physicians during procedures, and managing contrast reactions or codes
  • Responsible for accurate scheduling, exam completion, and entry of correct charge codes
  • Candidate must be able to analyze patient body habitus and clinical data to minimize radiation exposure
  • All copies of certifications must be provided for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a CT and radiology technologist in a U.S. hospital
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Active, non-pending state radiology license with fluoroscopy and Texas Medical Board certification required if applicable
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program and Associate's Degree or equivalent required
  • BLS certification (AHA only) required
  • CPI certification mandated for this position
  • Experience performing both CT and X-ray studies required
  • Must have a valid U.S. Social Security number for consideration
  • Two recent manager or supervisor references from the last twelve months preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
