Full Time Nights : 7p-7a, 3x12 hour shifts one week and 3x12 hour shifts the next week, rotating weekends.

A Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role :
In collaboration with a licensed preceptor, performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.Under the direct supervision of a license preceptor, performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.Under the direct supervision of a licensed preceptor documents patient care given.Under direct supervision of a licensed preceptor monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Under direct supervision of a licensed preceptor, collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual / psychosocial support needs.Under direct supervision of a licensed preceptor evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Why join us

Applicants should have an associates degree in Nursing. Applicants should be in the process of sitting for the NCLEX and receiving a current Tennessee Registered Nurse license or another compact state. Additional requirements include :
