Staff Radar Systems Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Radar Systems Engineer to serve as the technical authority and integrator for next-generation Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) architectures and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate on defining next-generation SAR system architectures and perform radar performance modeling

Support advanced concepts by integrating radar innovations into mission studies and conducting feasibility assessments

Provide technical oversight for radar technology transition and mentor radar engineers in system design and modeling

Required Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Radar Systems, Applied Physics, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)

10+ years of experience in radar system engineering, particularly with SAR payloads or spaceborne radar systems

Expertise in radar performance modeling and system architecture

Familiarity with GaN, AESA architectures, and digital beamforming

Proven leadership skills and experience interfacing with government R&D agencies
