Solar And Storage Sales Representative

We are looking for a Sales Representative who is passionate about customer service, driven by results, and experienced in in-home sales. This is an exciting opportunity to represent industry-leading products and be part of a team thats helping shape the future of the energy industry.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for generating new business, conducting on-site assessments, delivering customized proposals, and guiding clients through the energy purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new residential generator sales
  • Educate homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits generator systems
  • Conduct site evaluations and gather technical data for proposal generation
  • Prepare and present professional, tailored proposals to potential customers
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and permitting teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to installation
  • Maintain CRM records, track leads, and report progress to management
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • One weekend a month (Saturdays) at our retail partners - promoting generator sales

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of proven experience in residential sales, energy storage, or renewable energy solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Comfortable conducting in-home consultations and site assessments
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proficient with CRM platforms and sales proposal tools
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Environmental Studies, or related field (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel for client appointments

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with local utility rebate programs, net metering, and solar incentives
  • Familiarity with sales platforms such as Aurora, Solo, or Sighten
  • NABCEP certification or equivalent industry training a plus
