Neurologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neurologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in a primarily outpatient setting.
• Outpatient consultation in general neurology with potential for focus in applicant's subspecialty.
• Provide supervision and teaching of internal medicine and psychiatry residents.
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
• Perform other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the department Chairperson.
• Opportunities for administrative and clinical research.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $263,000

The annual total value of the compensation package is $384,820

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

The annual base salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits. Actual total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections.
