Job Description Summary
This position is for a full-time research specialist/lab manager in the laboratory of Russell Epstein. The holder of this position will work with other members of the lab to perform functional magnetic resonance imaging experiments that investigate the neural systems underlying high-level vision, scene recognition, spatial navigation, and memory in adult humans.

Job Description

Duties will include

- Assisting with all aspects of fMRI experimentation including designing and preparing of experiments

- Recruiting subjects and running them in the scanner

- Analyzing fMRI data using both basic (univariate) and advanced (multivariate) techniques

- Presenting results at scientific conferences

- Supervising undergraduates in the lab and coordinating lab activities.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience or other related scientific field
- Strong computer skills
- An ability to solve technical problems independently
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Some prior research experience
