As Deputy Program Manager for the Broward County Transit (BCT) Premium Mobility (PREMO) Program , you will play a key leadership role in one of South Florida's most transformative transit initiatives.
The PREMO Program, unanimously approved by the Broward County Commission in June 2023, is a $4.3 billion investment over 15 years to create a countywide network of premium transit services. Funded by a voter-approved one-cent transportation surtax under the Mobility Advancement Program (MAP) Broward, PREMO will deliver over 200 miles of Commuter Rail, Light Rail Transit, Bus Rapid Transit, and High-Frequency Bus services.
This program aims to connect Palm Beach County to Miami-Dade County, improve regional mobility, and provide equitable, modern, and reliable transportation solutions for all communities in Broward County. Key elements include the Commuter Rail South project, light rail connections to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the Seaport, and the Convention Center, and enhanced connectivity to major destinations like Sawgrass Mills Mall.
As Deputy Program Manager, you will support the Program Director in managing all aspects of this complex, multi-modal program, ensuring successful delivery from planning through construction and operational readiness.
The Deputy Program Manager will be a proactive, inclusive leader who fosters a collaborative team environment and drives excellence in program delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical problem-solving capabilities, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, resolve conflicts constructively, and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams toward successful outcomes.

This is 100% onsite position and will be based at the Broward County Transit Program Management Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The base salary range for this position is $130,900.00 to $180,900.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
