Environmental Hazmat Working Field Supervisor - Excellent Pay!

Industry leading environmental remediation contractor seeks highly-skilled hazmat working field supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage health and safety requirements associated with projects.
  • Understand safety protocols and procedures to facilitate a safe work environment.
  • Safely and proficiently perform emergency spill response activities such as chemical spills, tank cleaning, decontamination, etc.
  • Handling of hazardous waste and hazardous materials.
  • Industrial tank & sump cleaning.
  • Collect samples.

Requirements

  • HAZWOPER Certification – Initial 40 hour and current 8 hour refresher (preferred or an employer-paid path will be provided).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Flexible schedule consistent with 24 / 7 / 365 on call rotation including weekends / holidays as needed.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Must be able to complete reports accurately, demonstrate superior attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Safety-sensitive position subject to drug and alcohol testing, including ongoing random testing.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions, use good judgment and make sound decisions.
