Certified Ophthalmic Assistant - Child Ophthalmology (F / T Days)

Responsible for taking ocular, medical, and family history, chief complaint, completes visual acuity, refraction, OCT, and other testing as necessary. This position assists the doctor in minor procedures, does pre-op measurements for cataract and other eye surgeries, schedules surgery, and assists the front desk with phones and patient messages as needed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
