Description : Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Management Coordinator to support our revenue management team, with a specific focus on reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in generating and interpreting revenue reports. This role is critical to supporting the revenue strategy of the hotel by providing data-driven insights, monitoring key performance metrics, and helping optimize revenue management practices.
Hybrid – Available to meet once a week in person in the Chicagoland area.
Key Responsibilities :
Revenue Reporting & Analysis :
o Generate, compile, and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc revenue reports.
o Assist in preparing regular performance reports for management, highlighting trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), and other relevant metrics.
o Analyze revenue and booking patterns, identify discrepancies, and provide insights on potential opportunities or areas for improvement.
o Maintain and update reporting dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
Data Management :
o Monitor and ensure the integrity of data collected from property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS), and other relevant platforms.
o Assist in managing the hotel's database, ensuring the proper categorization and updating of all relevant revenue-related information.
Forecasting & Trend Analysis :
o Assist the revenue management team in analyzing historical data and trends to support forecasting activities.
o Provide detailed reports on demand patterns, booking lead times, and market segmentation, contributing to accurate future revenue projections.
o Assist hotels in providing a weekly operational forecast.
Reporting Automation & Tools :
o Assist in streamlining and automating reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
o Help with the integration of new reporting tools as needed, ensuring smooth adoption and usage by the team.
Collaboration & Support :
o Work closely with the revenue management team to identify data gaps and enhance reporting accuracy.
o Provide support for special reporting requests, such as year-over-year comparisons, group bookings analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
o Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align reporting efforts and ensure consistent data tracking across channels.
Compliance & Quality Assurance :
o Ensure that all reports comply with internal guidelines and industry standards.
o Conduct periodic audits on data and reporting processes to maintain high-quality standards.
