About the Role Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant at Enclave, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting principles. This individual will take ownership of key accounting processes, support month-end and year-end close activities, and contribute to financial reporting and analysis. As a key member of the accounting team, the Senior Accountant will help mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration to ensure the financial health of the organization.

Position Responsibilities
General Ledger Management & Accounting Operations
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and appropriate documentationReconcile general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptlyAssist with maintaining the chart of accounts and accounting system setup for new entitiesMonth-End and Year-End Close
Lead and support month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completionPrepare and review financial statements and supporting schedulesAssist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviewsFinancial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare internal financial reports and management summariesAnalyze financial results, provide variance explanations, and support forecasting effortsIdentify areas for process improvement and contribute to streamlining reporting workflowsFixed Assets & Depreciation
Maintain fixed asset records and ensure timely recording of additions, disposals, and depreciationReconcile fixed asset schedules to the general ledgerCompliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control proceduresAssist in developing, updating, and enforcing accounting policies and proceduresSupport tax reporting and regulatory filings as neededSupport & Collaboration
Collaborate with AP, AR, payroll, and other departments to ensure transactional accuracySupport budgeting and forecasting processes with financial data and insightsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staffGeneral Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA preferredExperience in real estate, construction or multi-entity environments preferredWe're Seeking Individuals Who Have :
GAAP & Financial Reporting : Applies a solid understanding of GAAP principles to ensure accurate and compliant financial documentation.Accounting Systems Proficiency : Navigates platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar with ease to streamline accounting workflows.Advanced Excel & Data Tools : Leverages advanced Excel functions and optionally data visualization tools to support financial analysis and reporting.Accuracy & Organization : Maintains high standards of precision and organization across all financial tasks and deliverables.Analytical & Communication Skills : Combines strong analytical thinking with clear communication to solve problems and collaborate effectively.Financial Presentation & Stakeholder Engagement : Clearly presents financial data and insights to internal stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making across teams.Physical Requirements & Work Environment
