Salary :

Summary : Responsible for completion of semi-skilled construction tasks required to successfully complete assigned construction projects.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Perform semi-skilled construction tasks in major / minor construction and repair job assignments.
• Operate construction equipment and tools related to job, including but limited to jackhammers, earth tampers, concrete mixers, saws and electric / pneumatic drills.
• Follow all company and safety policies / regulations at the work site, to include OSHA and MOSH regulations.
• Take direction from Supervisor and / or Crew Leader for assigned tasks and completion deadlines.
• Assist Construction Managers Crew Leaders.
• Read blueprints and designs.
• Install and monitor traffic control devices.
• Prepare and maintain clean work zones.
• Dig trenches.
• Work underground in tunnels and sewer systems.
• Install electrical conduit, sewer, water, and storm drainpipes.
• Pour concrete and asphalt onto roads.
• Remove hazardous materials.
• Survey and maintain equipment.
