Position Overview The Senior Level Military Operations Analyst for the SATOPS BDE MILSATCOM A&A Support contract and will be responsible for providing WGS SME support for activities required in the effective implementation, management, and direction of the Operational Project Lead (OPL) activities required to implement Wideband operations in accordance with agreements established by the WGS Multilateral MOU.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain a direct liaison with the U.S. Military Departments, Joint Staff, Defense Information Systems Agency, the Australian DoD, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the users of SATCOM systems as directed to provide necessary support to the OPL responsibilities.
- Support the development of policy and procedures for the implementation of all operational aspects of the WGS Multilateral MOU.
- Develop, prepare, deliver, and present reports and briefing materials as directed for recurring and ad hoc meetings in support of the MOU.
- Attend and provide reports / meeting minutes on wideband meetings including, but not limited to, the WWG, PSR, OSWG, TIM and SC.
- Develop processes and procedures for providing situational awareness to each International Partner regarding its Baseline Resource Allocation (BRA) and system usage.
- Provide document reviews, technical papers, point papers, EXSUMs, written summations, GO one-pager briefs, G6 SATCOM weekly activity reports, and significant activity reports.
- Assist the Government with preparation of the required billing statements and preparation of annual International Partner budget forecast.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and sustainment of a common network for secure information exchange.
- Maintain the WGS International Partner OSG.
- Assist with coordination of training activities, TDY requirements, facility upgrades, security activities, situational awareness tools, certification activities, and testing activities in support of the MOU.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM.Must have a Bachelor of Science degree or higherMust be able to demonstrate proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem solvingMust have a TS with SCI eligibilityMust be a United States citizenTarget Salary Range
$110K - $120K. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
