Memorial Health Care Systems, an award-winning Critical Access Hospital, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I Groundskeeper.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of MHCS facility grounds, including, but not limited to, mowing, fertilizing, watering, picking up trash, and snow removal.

This position is also responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical structures at all MHCS buildings. The position provides assistance as needed with the preventative maintenance program and housekeeping duties within the Plant Operations Department.

Candidates should possess a working knowledge of lawn care and snow removal equipment and be able to work unsupervised. Experience with underground lawn sprinklers is a plus.

Candidates must have availability to be on-call at least one week a month, including major holidays, and be able to work flexible hours as needed for snow removal.

Candidates must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
