Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary)

Pay $26-$27 / hr

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary role near Glendora with a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables), and familiarity with JD Edwards (preferred). Responsibilities :

• Reconcile invoices and statements, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, freight, discounts, and account distribution
• Process journal entries, purchase orders, and vouchers into the appropriate systems
• Analyze vendor accounts and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Handle inquiries from vendors and employees as needed
• Process checks for all subsidiaries in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including sales / use tax and 1099s
• Ensure accuracy in maintaining the company's address book
