Clinical Support Technician I - Telemetry (Nights)

Your responsibilities will include :

• Supporting physicians and healthcare providers during routine examinations and procedures, while effectively managing equipment and supplies.
• Actively monitoring patient care documentation to identify significant changes in patient conditions, ensuring prompt communication with registered nurses or physicians.
• Conducting various clerical tasks, such as organizing workloads, welcoming visitors, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure accurate medical record maintenance and order management.
• Providing essential clinical support, including cleanliness of work areas, equipment maintenance, and assistance with patient transport and orientation of new employees and students.
• Delivering direct personal care to patients as outlined in care plans, including activities such as bathing, dressing, and documenting vital signs.
• Reinforcing educational materials and instructions provided by registered nurses or physicians, ensuring patients understand their care and have access to necessary resources.

Education Requirements :

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)

Licensure / Certification Requirements :

Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Professional Experience Requirements :

Prior experience not required.

Knowledge / Skills / and Abilities Requirements :

Fluency in verbal and written English, with a willingness to develop computer skills if needed.
