Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one year of experience and current CA licensing for flexible shifts in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care hospital CT department

Schedule includes day or night 12-hour shifts; candidates must be open to all shift times

Self-scheduling based on seniority

No on-call or floating to other units required, but expectation to float between facilities within the state if needed

Patient ratios are 1 : 1

Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required

Locals are accepted at the same rate

Shift start times may include 6 : 00, 8 : 00, 15 : 00, or 17 : 00

Must complete pre-employment modules prior to start

Scrub color for imaging staff not specified; navy blue for RNs

Free parking available on-site

Must commit to working at least 3 of the 5 following holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day

Return staff may be considered if at least 3 months since prior employment and not within 50 miles of the facility

Requested time off must be presented up front; approval subject to unit needs

First-time travelers are accepted

References from at least 2 supervisors covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required

All travelers may be required to float to other facilities within the state if necessary

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year recent CT Technologist experience

Current CA CRT, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CT, and BLS certifications required

CA license must be active and in hand; no temporary or pending licenses accepted

Ability to work a variable schedule, including potential weekends

Epic EMR experience required

License required if applicable
