Job description

Essential Responsibilities :

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a company-wide continuous improvement roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Promote a CI culture through training, mentoring, and facilitation of improvement projects.
  • Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities across departments.

Project Management

  • Lead and manage Lean / Six Sigma.
  • Coordinate Kaizen events, workshops, and cross-functional process reviews.
  • Track project performance metrics (e.g., cost savings, cycle time, quality KPIs).
  • Process Optimization

  • Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and variation.
  • Implement process changes that improve quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
  • Support digital transformation or automation initiatives where applicable.
  • Collaboration & Coaching

  • Partner with operations, quality, logistics, and other business units to drive improvements.
  • Coach and develop team members on CI tools and techniques.
  • Foster ownership of CI activities at all organizational levels.
  • Monitoring & Reporting

  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of CI initiatives.
  • Report improvement outcomes and present findings to leadership.
  • Ensure documentation of new standards and processes post-implementation
  • KPIs / Performance Targets :

  • These indicators are typically tied to efficiency, cost savings, quality improvement, and cultural
  • adoption of continuous improvement (CI) principles.

    Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience : 5–8 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or quality
  • management.

  • Certifications : Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required), Black Belt or equivalent (preferred).
  • Skills :

  • Lean Manufacturing / Lean principles
  • o Value stream mapping, 5S, waste elimination

  • Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt)
  • o DMAIC, root cause analysis

  • Process Mapping & Workflow Optimization
  • o Using tools like Visio, or similar.

  • Project Management
  • o Agile, Scrum, or PMP knowledge to manage improvement projects.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • o Proficiency in Excel, Visio, Power BI

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • o ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), audits, CAPA processes

  • Change-Management
  • o Ability to lead and support change across different departments.

  • Leadership
  • o Influencing teams without direct authority, coaching skills.

  • Communication
  • o Clear reporting and facilitation of workshops and Kaizen events.

  • Problem-Solving
  • o Strong analytical mindset for identifying root causes and crafting solutions.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork
  • o Working with cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement Culture Building
  • o Driving a mindset shift across all levels of the organization.

  • KPI Development & Monitoring
  • o Setting metrics for success and using them to drive performance.

  • o Identifying savings opportunities and operational bottlenecks.

  • Advanced in MS Office
