Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and timely manner. Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall operation of the location. Assist with crowd control, visitor management, and / or access points as needed during peak periods or special events within the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations as mandated by the hospital client and / or applicable law. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes duties in sensitive areas such as the morgue. Must be able to safely restrain individuals as part of hospital security-related responsibilities. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Hospital Vaccines Patrol
