Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens)

Location : Cambridge, OH / Athens, OH

Position Overview :

Seeking an experienced Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverag. This position requires a commitment of at least 5 shifts per month.

Key Details :

  • Start Date : March 2025 (credentialing required : 45-60 days)
  • Shift Schedule :
  • Physician Shifts : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM, 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM
  • APP Shifts : 9 : 00 AM 9 : 00 PM, 11 : 00 AM 11 : 00 PM, 2 : 00 PM 2 : 00 AM
  • Weekend Coverage : Required
  • On Call : Not required
  • Annual Volume : 24 500 visits
  • Facility Details :
  • Number of Beds : 17
  • EMR System : MediTech
  • Transfer Locations : Riverside, Grant, Genesis, OSU, Aultman (OB)
  • Transfer Rate : 4.94%

Compensation :

  • Hourly Rate : $260 / hour

    • Requirements :

  • Education : Must be Board Certified by ABMS / AOA (double board certification by ABPS is acceptable)
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine
  • Licensure : Active Ohio license REQUIRED (IMLC not accepted)
  • Certifications :
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • COVID-19 vaccination REQUIRED

    • Additional Notes :

  • Providers must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month consistently
