Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care, support patient mobility, and assist in treatment planning to promote optimal recovery and functional independence. Key Responsibilities : Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions. Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any notable changes. Collaborate with the rehab team and facility staff to ensure coordinated patient care. Support patient education regarding therapy goals, safety, and at-home exercises. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant therapy environment. Requirements : Active state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant (must be current). SNF experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently while following the PT’s plan of care. BLS certification may be required per facility standards.
