The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient condition.
Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status, diagnostic results, and response to treatment.
Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Ensure quality and continuity of care by adhering to facility policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Telemetry - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING :
Current and valid state RN License.
Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING :
Current and valid state RN License.
Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Emergency Services - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING :
Current and valid state RN License.
Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below) :
EDAP certified facilities : Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
Non-OB facilities : Trauma designated facilities : Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire and maintain. Non-trauma facilities, TNCC preferred.
