Position Overview

We're looking for a Head of IT / Security who thrives in the fast pace of an early-stage startup while also being fluent in government security, compliance, and defense-sector requirements. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role : you'll be the architect, the implementer, and the strategist all at once. Your mandate will be to build the foundation for our long-term security posture while solving today's problems.

Role

• Lead our FedRAMP High efforts in tandem with our security platform partners.
• Identify and mitigate data graduation risks across unclassified, CUI, and classified environments.
• Lead efforts to achieve and maintain DD254 and Facilities Clearance (FCL).
• Build and manage controls aligned with SOC II, NIST, CMMC and other frameworks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security due diligence with investors, government stakeholders, and primes.
• Build out and own best-in-class in-person and remote IT security measures ensuring MDM, VPN, and on-premise security are properly configured.

$140,000 - $165,000 a year
