LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Urgent Care MD in Blue Springs, Missouri, 64014!

About The Position

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This role begins on Dec 1, 2025, with shift hours from 8 AM to 8 PM. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing typical urgent care duties in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule : Daily shifts, 8 AM to 8 PM

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform procedures such as laceration closure, incision and drainage (I&D)
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays and EKGs
  • Manage cases involving workers' compensation
  • Candidates with DOT certification will have an advantage

  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care required
  • Must be licensed in KS or MO
  • Experience with pediatric patients (ages 3 months and older) preferred
  • Familiarity with Practice Velocity EMR system
