Supports production by minimizing downtime, performing equipment installations, and contributing to continuous improvement. Troubleshooting & Repair : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated systems. Use PLCs, ladder logic, and HMIs for fault resolution. Automation Support : Maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics, conveyors, sensors, actuators, and control systems. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance : Execute scheduled maintenance on heading, threading, painting, packaging, and automation equipment. Equipment Installation & Upgrades : Assist with setup, installation, commissioning, and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Machine Setup & Changeover : Support alignment and tooling adjustments during changeovers. Provide operator support during runs. Facility & Utility Maintenance : Maintain air compressors, lighting, water systems, and perform facility inspections. Documentation : Accurately complete work orders, downtime logs, and maintenance records. Communicate repair timelines with production leads. Inventory Management : Track usage of tools and parts; request reorders to avoid downtime. Collaboration : Work with production, engineering, and quality teams. Train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care. Continuous Improvement : Participate in root cause analysis and support equipment performance enhancements. Safety & Compliance : Follow OSHA standards, lockout / tagout procedures, and company safety policies. Participate in safety programs, audits, and corrective actions. Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred
