Join our dynamic team as a Quality Specialist at a leading distribution center in Hialeah, where we manage a comprehensive inventory of over a million part numbers for OEMs, MROs, and airlines. Our facility specializes in receiving third-party manufactured parts, conducting quality inspections, and efficiently shipping them to manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities :

Verify routine product conformance to design requirements.

Provide objective evidence of results.

Perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring, identifying and documenting discrepancies.

Segregate and control non-conforming items, performing preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.

Inspect incoming parts / material and outgoing orders, ensuring certification accuracy and checking parts for processing under limited supervision.

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections for defects, per design record and documented AQL levels.

Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet AS9100 and company quality standards, while communicating with vendors as needed.

Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers, with active use of stamps required.

Essential Skills :

Experience in quality inspections within the aerospace industry.

Ability to interpret quality manuals and certificates of conformance.

Proficient in visual inspection, quality check, and document control.

2+ years of experience with calipers, ring / pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope.

Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Proficient in PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel).

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Previous aerospace industry inspection experience.

Must be able to interpret airworthiness documentation.

Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection.

Work Environment :

The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, within a climate-controlled environment.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, Florida.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
