Systems / Solutions Architect - End User Computing

Piper Companies is looking for an experienced Systems / Solutions Architect specializing in End User Computing to guide the strategic development and management of endpoint technologies for a leading healthcare organization. This hybrid (3 days onsite ) role in Columbia, MD plays a key part in delivering secure, scalable, and intuitive technology solutions across a diverse range of devices and platforms.

Responsibilities of the Systems / Solutions Architect - End User Computing :

• Manage a large-scale deployment of approximately 10,000 Chromebooks and 4,500 Windows laptops used by 35,000 remote clinical professionals.
• Design and oversee the implementation of endpoint systems across Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Chrome OS.
• Lead initiatives for hardware configuration, operating system imaging, and software rollout.
• Administer mobile device management (MDM) platforms and support hybrid / cloud-based EUC environments.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure alignment with industry security standards such as HITRUST, NIST, and OWASP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Translate complex technical concepts for various stakeholders and provide mentorship within a dynamic, matrixed organization.
