Role Description
The Propulsion System Development & Calibration Engineer will be responsible for the development, testing, and calibration of propulsion systems, including ePT, transmissions, and engines. This role involves planning and coordinating day-to-day powertrain dynamometer activities in collaboration with technicians and support engineers.
Key responsibilities include creating test plans, managing timelines, and preparing detailed reports to update the broader team on program status. The engineer will evaluate new propulsion system hardware and emerging powertrain technologies for both future and carryover applications. Additional duties include analyzing and resolving complex performance issues related to propulsion systems such as fuel efficiency, emissions, and calibration development, as well as working with large, complex datasets. The engineer will also contribute to hardware selection decisions and calibration strategies to ensure all functional objectives are met.
