We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our dynamic team. This position is an excellent opportunity for both experienced PAs and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive, collaborative environment. The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced Orthopedic MD with over 20 years of expertise, benefiting from direct mentorship and guidance to develop advanced skills in orthopedic care.
In addition to clinic-based responsibilities, the PA-C will provide surgical first-assist services at our practice-owned surgical center and local hospitals, contributing to comprehensive patient care across the continuum.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and imaging interpretation.
- Assist in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for orthopedic conditions and injuries.
- Perform minor in-office procedures and assist in surgical procedures as needed.
- Serve as a surgical first assistant in orthopedic procedures at our surgical center and local hospitals.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Qualifications :
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with current Oregon licensure (or ability to obtain licensure).Open to new graduates eager to learn and grow in the field of orthopedics.Previous experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or surgical assisting is a plus but not required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.What We Offer :
