SC Customer Collaboration Specialist / Manager

The VMI Manager manages and maintains the customers inventory replenishment models to maintain agreed upon targets. This role must build strong relationships by providing robust analytical skills, communication skills and leadership skills to leverage both internal and external data to maximize customer satisfaction, best in class service, efficiency improvements and aligned demand plans. This role is directly responsible for customer in stock, inventory targets, and forecast adjustments. The role requires the use of an additional software program to perform the task. The VMI position is integral to ensuring efficient operations and enhancing customer satisfaction within the company's portfolio. The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the promotion of a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. This role is a critical component of our supply chain, working collaboratively to ensure that quality, safety and the experience of our customers is our top priority.
Key Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate robust analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency with computer systems, and strong communication skills to establish relationships with our top customers and sales teams.
- Develop reports that track all metrics and identify trends or issues that impact inventory levels.
- Understand all VMI parameters, calculations, and data feeds to accurately generate replenishment orders.
- Identify and communicate customer specific changes / trends that impact the demand plans.
- Assures service level performance is aligned with the established customer requirements.
- Implement strategies for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to optimize stock levels and reduce cost.
- Oversee the customer and order management processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.
- Play a critical role in collaborating with Planning and Sales within CP to improve national forecast accuracy and better distribution of finished goods' inventory.
- Collaborate with our customers to identify areas of opportunity for greater efficiency and service improvement.
- Seek opportunities and lead improvement projects, including but not limited to new technology assessments and implementations, and logistic efficiency improvements.
- Identify and potentially participate in opportunities to be involved in benchmarking, attending industry conferences, and provide critical input into the strategic direction of the organization.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of Bachelor's degree or higher is required; focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or another related field.Minimum of six (6) years of proven experienceProficiency with Excel (pivot tables & V Lookups) and WordCuriosity and desire to learn new systems / applicationsExperience working across cross-functional teamsProven problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.Preferred Qualifications :
