PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :

Support manufacturing by safely moving glass through the tempering process.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES :

  • Accurately read and measure glass specifications.
  • Safely move glass through the tempering facility.
  • Load and unload glass from washers, polishers, ovens, and roller tables.
  • Operate multiple machines through tempering process.
  • Follow the order paperwork to ensure accurate production.
  • Constantly perform quality check on product.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Analytical skills with a mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and organized approach to work with the ability to re-prioritize quickly as production demands warrant.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed due to business demands.
  • Must have the ability to perform physical work and may be required to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to work on one's feet for long periods of time. Able to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and lifting for up to 3-4 hours without sitting.

    • WORKING CONDITIONS :

    Works primarily indoors with exposure to seasonal weather extremes. Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, and materials.
