Position Summary
The Mod Center Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining specialized machinery to produce parts according to customer specifications. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain Rittal CNC Machines to produce parts efficiently.
\n
• Operate multiple CNC machines such as:
  \n
  • Perforex Milling Terminal
  \n
  • Perforex Lasser Center
  \n
  • Ehrt Flexpunch
  \n
  • EB Machine
  \n
  \n
\n
• Modify parts as required by production demand.
\n
• Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition.
\n
• Assemble components and products following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
\n
• Deburring and painting products.
\n
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
\n
• Ensure product quality by following established procedures and tolerances based on customer requirements.
\n
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
\n
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned.
\n

Knowledge & Experience

\n
• High school diploma or GED required.
\n
• Ability to read and write documents in standard English.
\n
• Basic understanding of tooling and ability to read blueprints.
\n
• Preferred qualifications: advanced blueprint reading skills, CAD experience, CNC operation, and copper processing knowledge.
\n

Physical Requirements

\n
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
\n
• Lift up to 80 lbs occasionally and 25-50 lbs frequently.
\n
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing assignments.
\n

Safety Requirements

\n
• Safety-toed footwear.
\n
• Safety glasses with side shields.
\n
• Additional PPE as required.
\n

\n
Work Environment

• Non-climate-controlled work area with exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
