The HIM Technician

Summary of role of team :

• The HIM Specialist closely works with the Health Information Management team and outside resources, providing and receiving feedback with the purpose of providing exceptional healthcare records management.

1. Responsible for scanning / filing all Center related medical record documents.

2. Responsible for screening request for records and processing as needed.

3. Responsible for understanding HIPAA and Confidentiality rules.

4. Responsible for managing the Front Desk at the Knox County Children & Youth Center.

5. Other job-related duties.
