Job descriptionSupports a quality work environment by following appropriate policies and procedures. Completes weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance duties on Operations machinery, equipment, and tooling per preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and as assigned Documents required repairs and maintenance tasks. Observes gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly. Inspects equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Repairs, cleans, lubricates, or adjusts machinery to optimally maintain the equipment. Disassembles, repairs, or replaces malfunctioning / broken machinery or equipment components. Reassembles equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair. Examines parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage. Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance Must possess a high level of knowledge of machine and tooling maintenance requirements Must have the ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, tooling and equipment Must have the ability to run basic machine shop equipment Must have the ability to accurately use calipers, dial indicators and micrometers Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Products and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Mgmt. System) Efficiently manages time and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and goals. Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders Builds strong relationships with others, fostering a supportive and engaged workplace. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate degree in technical field preferred Minimum of one (1) year related experience or one (1) year technical training Training in maintenance / repair of mechanical equipment and machinery a plus Training in industrial electrical repair and maintenance a plus This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, production assembly machine operations, and / or walking and assisting production employees Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor where noise levels may be moderate or high and hearing protection may have to be worn Eye and foot protection may have to be worn There is potential for lifting weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 45 pounds on an occasional basis There is potential exposure to extreme temperatures The occasional physical demands of the position include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and eye / hand / foot coordination May stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off

About the role
Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing, adjusting, and / or maintaining industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This position performs basic troubleshooting and repairs with direction and oversight.
Desirable shift schedules! 12-hour workdays on 3rd shift (6 : 55 pm - 7 am). We work 2-3-2 rotation.
