Junior Controller

Staffmark is partnering with a leading organization in Miami, FL, to hire a Junior Controller for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. If you're an experienced accounting professional with a strong understanding of financial operations, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a dynamic team, this role is for you.

Salary : $60,000 - $62,000 (Depending on Experience)

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

• Record daily financial transactions and post entries to appropriate ledgers
• Ensure accuracy in supplier, customer, and general ledgers
• Manage and track accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Prepare financial statements and assist in bringing books to the trial balance stage
• Handle AR / AP reconciliations, payroll, tax forms, and credit card reconciliations
• Process journal entries for weekly and month-end closing
• Review and reconcile daily cash transactions and bank statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure secure document storage
• Assist with accrual accounting to ensure proper revenue and expense recognition
• Generate reports and support the accounting team with financial analysis
