This is a position in the fueling electrical team supporting the Aircraft Systems (Fueling & Ramp Services) and Federal Fueling Business Lines within the Aviation & Federal (ANF) Global Practice. Burns & McDonnell is considered the leading consultant in the aircraft fueling industry. We are engaged in high visibility projects, both large and small, at major airports and military bases worldwide. Additionally, the fueling business line executes projects for aviation, federal, transport truck and car rental clients, including marine loading facilities, pipeline terminals, truck loading facilities and commercial gasoline stations. Applicant will be responsible for performing engineering and consulting services for clients across the US and the US Government. Typical clients include private airlines, public airport or city entities and US Department of Defense. Main responsibilities include working with the team to create electrical, instrumentation and controls components of design deliverables. Projects range in size and complexity from small single tank and single dispenser gas stations to million-barrel bulk fuel storage depots or aviation fuel facilities distributing millions of gallons of jet fuel per day.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
Minimum of 3 years related experience in :
Completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
Professional Engineer registration strongly preferred.
Must be proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel.
Beneficial but not required to have : experience in ETAP and / or SKM software; computer aided design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit.
Understanding of federal Whole Building Design Guide, Unified Facilities Criteria, Unified Facilities Guide Specifications.
Advanced knowledge of industrial standards and codes such as NEC, NFPA, API, PIP, IEEE.
Familiarity with fuel process equipment motor operated valves and controllers; automatic tank gauging systems for large and small tanks, leak detection systems, load computers, flow meters, etc.
EPC project experience.
Compensation
$110,000.00-155,000.00 Yearly
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local / state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to : individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
