JOB TITLE : Accounting ClerkDEPARTMENT : AdministrationFLSA CLASSIFICATION : Non-exempt (hourly)
Position Summary : Assist the Team Leader in an effective and productive manner.
Essential Functions :
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Assist with payroll preparation and expense reports.
- Maintain and update accounting records, files, and documents.
- Prepare invoices, checks, and deposit slips.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist accountants and managers with audits, reports, and other financial tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Assist with production and sales support as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred).
- 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred).1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience.Basic understanding of accounting principles.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Experience with ERP or financial systems.Knowledge of general ledger functions.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
