American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in hemodynamic monitoring and advanced cardiac procedures for a travel assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab serving inpatient and outpatient populationsPerform specialized procedures including hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker implantation, STEMI intervention, EP ablations, coil embolization, and rotablader proceduresShifts available are 4x10 hour days (07 : 00-17 : 30) or 5x8 hour days (07 : 00-15 : 30, some 08 : 00 starts)Late team rotation occurs once per week to finish remaining casesCall requirement is 1 night per week and every 4th weekend on a call rotationCandidates may float to Interventional Radiology or an affiliated hospital as neededUses Cerner EMR, Cerner experience is requiredLight blue scrubs are providedPrimary duties include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, obtaining vitals, and interpreting dysrhythmiasWill participate in call and late shift rotations according to department staffing needsAll holiday requests must be approved by the department, with willingness to work at least one holiday if taking RTO during holiday periodsTravelers may float within the hospital or to affiliate sites nearby based on censusLight blue scrubs will be providedTravelers complete up to 8 hours of online modules prior to startReturn staff must be gone at least 3 years before being eligible for another travel assignmentBeacon assignments have strict professional conduct expectations and policy for contract termination for violations\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab experience requiredActive state license or willingness to obtain prior to start; license required if applicableExperience with hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, pacemaker implants, IV starts, phlebotomy, EP ablations, rotablader, and coil embolization requiredCerner charting experience requiredMust live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not acceptedPending state licenses accepted if active by startFirst time travelers may be considered\n Benefits\n
