What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and other unwanted activity within the retail environment.

Monitor access points and control entry and exit of individuals as required by site policies.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.

Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms and adhere strictly to all legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements :

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
