Job Summary :
As the Behavioral Health RN Manager, you will oversee the daily activities and workflow of our nursing unit(s). Your leadership will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.Take responsibility for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating nursing staff.Identify and address issues affecting patient care, developing effective policies and procedures.Monitor unit budgets, approving expenditures to maintain financial accountability.Consistently maintain alertness and safety in the workplace.Perform additional duties as needed.Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.Experience Requirements :
A minimum of two years of registered nurse experience with progressive leadership responsibility, or one year of RN experience plus one year of leadership experience.Physical Requirements :
Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, and reaching activities.Ability to utilize vision for distinguishing colors and identifying details.Use hearing and speech effectively for communication.Frequent data entry and keyboard use.Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Licensure and Certifications Required :
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or issued by a Compact State.Work Schedule : Day Shift (United States of America)
