AR Clerk (Direct Bill)

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a AR Clerk to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $28 to $33 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collection.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging.
• Assess and manage customer credit limits and terms.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Apply payments received to the appropriate customer accounts.
• Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications/Experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of accounting or AR, AP or GL filed experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Strong Excel) and accounting software's.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to resolve billing and payment issues efficiently.
• Great customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
