Quality Analyst Lead

About This Role

Responsible for oversight and execution of IT project testing. The QA Lead will work with Business Systems and Technical Engineering project teams to ensure appropriate task and resource planning is in place to certify IT projects. The QA Lead will also work with outside labor vendor partners on resource demand planning and overall portfolio staffing. The QA Lead will manage the test strategy to assure appropriate test coverage and testing, and they will have overall responsibility to implement procedures and policies of the QA management team.

What You’ll Do

Act as QA Testing Lead for a portfolio of project work

Ensure completion of a testing strategy for each project, which will include functional, non-functional, regression, automation, and performance testing

Establish resource requirements to execute test strategies and work with vendor partners on quarterly staffing plans

Provide QA project cost estimates to Managers from Business Systems and Technical Engineering to be included in scorecard ROI calculations

Collaborate with Automation Engineers on use and maintenance of regression scripts

Produce and share a standard QA report for each project which will include testing burnup charts, failure %, defects, etc.

Ensure accurate and complete project defect details are included in enterprise defect tracking tool

Oversee agile story testing process, provide guidance on acceptance criteria

Handle escalations from project teams as needed

Implement policies and procedures as requested by QA management team

Required Skills

Minimum of 5 years of software quality assurance experience

Agile testing experience

Vendor oversight

Highly organized

Strong written and verbal communication
