A Typical Day :

As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will empower clients to make informed decisions regarding their finances and taxes. Your role will involve fostering relationships with clients, ensuring they return year after year.

Joining H&R Block as a seasoned Senior Tax Advisor means you’ll assist clients with diverse tax needs, backed by a team of experts dedicated to equipping you with the advanced training necessary for your success.

What you'll bring to the team :

• Conduct comprehensive tax interviews with clients through various formats, including in-person and virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare precise and thorough tax returns.
• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with essential IRS support.
• Assist clients with tax notice services.
• If certified as Circular 230 associates, provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support team members to foster their development.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Possess experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Demonstrate capability in completing individual tax returns.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiently use virtual tools for client interaction.
• Communicate effectively in-person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent at minimum.
