Travel Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic

Location : Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 12 / 22 / 2025

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Nights, 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM

Schedule : Limited weekends

Experience Required : Minimum 1 year

License : NY State Radiologic Technology License / Registration required

Qualifications

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

NYS license / registration required

At least 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist

Job Duties

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations under the direction of radiologists

Greet and prepare patients, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately

Set proper exposure factors to ensure high-quality imaging

Practice strict radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure

Operate radiology equipment efficiently and report malfunctions

Process imaging studies and input required information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing

Follow departmental policies, procedures, and imaging protocols

Provide radiologic examinations as ordered by referring physicians and radiologists
